Hi guys,
I think this is really my first ever proper post. hahaha anyway, I just want to share a message that I got by the grace of God. It is rather hilarious I could say as this inspiration came through my mind from my favorite game in my blackberry, brickbreaker. hah? oh my folly? what is that? yeah, some of you might think so rite? :D
but seriously, this brickbreaker really have changed my perspective upon my own life. Brickbreaker is just a merely a game to break the brick by reflecting the metal ball around the box. If you fail to reflect the ball, the ball will fall to the deep chasm, and you are dead. Luckily, you have three life deposits. Interestingly, though an easy games, often you need to sacrifice your own life to obtain a high score by getting the bonus that fall when you break a brick and letting your ball to fall. funny rite?
on my frustration to achieve the highest score ever, I came upon my insight that I really put on my mind until now. The Brick breaker is just like our life. The ‘life’ in the brick breaker game is a symbolism of the chances that we have in this life. Chances to be successful. There are times that we must sacrifice one of the chances in order to obtain greater achievement. But often there are times when we must not give away that ‘life’ deposit. Unfortunately, we, human, often just don’t understand that and think that we have unlimited chances in life.
In this life, different people have different amount of ‘life deposits’. You will never know how much chances that God has given to you. it might be 2, 3, or even only one! In all things that you are doing, do it wholeheartedly as you are really doing it for the last time even though challenges might hinder you from achieving your goals.
But how about time when you need to sacrifice that life? It is when you have another set of brick breaker with a greater reward to be achieved. Simplistically, it is called as priority. Set your priority right.
You can’t eat and breath in the same moment. You need to choose to take one of it first and take the other one after it. It is a sacrifice that you are unable to satisfy your gastronomical pleasure in the moment when you breath for your life. but you might sip in the food after you breath in your life.
So in conclusion, wrapping in all the complexity (or maybe confusion) from my post into a sentence,
“live your dream wholeheartedly and choose the right priority in your life”
You cannot eat when you breath and you cannot breath when you eat.
Auf Wiedersehen =)
