Bones and The Breath

Bonjour Freunde! It has been a very exiting week for me personally as my little sister was having a birthday, a sweet 17 even more :)! My fingers have not kissed the comp keyboard for quite long, and I think I should redeem it by writing some posts today. So enjoy guys!! :D!

Few days ago, as usual I was reading the old Testament (it’s seriously thought-provoking XD) and somehow I was caught by Ezekiel 37: 1-14. (Read it up at http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel+37&version=NKJV )

If you have read it, you will understand that Ezekiel was given a REAL vision upon Israel. God Himself makes a defeated army back to life from dry bones. I will jump around seriously if I saw this happening in front of my naked eyes. It is a beyond-belief miracle! But here in this post, I want to focus on one very thing that make me understand further about how God created human and what human is.

Inside Ezekiel 37, God asked Ezekiel to prophesy to the BONES to build the human BODY. Yet the body is still soulless. Then God asked Ezekiel to prophesy to the BREATH and now the body lives. The dry bones become an exceedingly great army. Do you get what it means? So what is important here?

Yes, it is BREATH. God wants to remind us again that a body without “breath” are just nothing and not alive. This unity between a human body and a breath is a symbol of the unity between human and God on how a human without God is just a completely soulless body.

Moreover, these bodies only can become an exceedingly great army, when the “breath” is inside them. Why this is amazing? Because before the “breath” is given, they were just a defeated weak army, who died tragically on the midst of a valley. But when the “BREATH” is given, the weak transform into the great army. So, do you want to be the exceedingly great person? Have the BREATH of God on your life. J!! Be blessed!!

Auf wiedersehen :)
